Leaks and hard to clean

I really wish I had just bought one off Amazon and read the reviews there. Instead, I ordered four of these directly from Smartshake.

First, I just got around to using them because I didn't realize they were hand wash only until they arrived. Like honestly, why? Why would you make a metal bottle hand wash only and then on top of that put a million tiny, sharp crevices in the plastic lid? I get that it's my bad that I didn't check to make sure it was dishwasher safe, but I never in my life thought that a wide-mouthed METAL bottle would have to be hand washed. Needless to say, I don't use these for actual protein shakes, and they've been relegated to water only. So not a total waste, but certainly not worth it for the money when I'm STILL going to have to buy more to use for protein shakes.

Second, they leak horribly. I have to thread and rethread the lid over and over and then tighten, test, and rethread until it gets to the magic point of not leaking. Oh, and then they usually start leaking again from a different side if you accidentally turn the bottle a different direction.

These are just such a sickening waste of money and resources.

I Love them! blue, grey and black. Use them every day and I use the Dishwasher, and that sems ok. Will by more! Will never use plastic again! I hardly recomend this one!

I do own a couple already, bought 2 new and I'm disappointed. The treads for the lid is terrible, must have changed something in the specs or changed manufacturer.
